Chess club has resumed in Scoil Treasa on Tuesdays at lunch time each week. There are currently 60 children from 6th class participating.

We recently held a tournament to select four children to attend a blitz with other local schools.The winning players were Matthew Whelan, Fergal Ryan, Kituru Ndee and Jamie O' Connell. The boys attended a fun blitz in St. Kevin's NS on Monday the 10th of December and learned a lot of new tricks!

We will be continuing to practice in school and a inter school tournament will be starting in January.
